Dear J. D.,

I’d say “Mr. Vice President,” but I respect you the same way you respect the intelligence of the American people. You see, I despise liars. And since becoming vice president, all you have done is lie and obfuscate issue after issue.

When you tried to pass the Iranian Memorandum of Understanding off as a “peace deal” with Iran, everyone with an iota of knowledge about the regime in Iran should have tossed you aside as a gullible, naïve fool. Peace. With Iran. A “peace plan.” A “peace deal.” With Iran. Those are your words.

How is that one working out for you? But it wasn’t just the aggressive ignorance you displayed that was so galling—it was the blatant lying. There were 14 points to the MOU, and you lied about no fewer than four of them. Turns out “Iranian propaganda” about the deal was more trustworthy than you are. You lied for days about what was in the MOU. Why? Do you think Americans are stupid? Do you think we’re as gullible as you are?

But that is my main issue with you. You lie. Constantly. It’s not that I don’t trust you—I trust you completely. I trust you the same way I trust the New York Times. Which is to say, I trust you to always either lie or make errors in one direction. And that’s before we get into your suspicious ability to always side with the groypers.

Not to beat a dead horse, but you had some harsh words for Israeli officials when they—rightfully—called you out for trying to make peace with regime in Iran. Strange, then, that I don’t remember a mea culpa coming from you. You claim your faith in Catholicism is strong, so let me put this in words you might understand: “What would Jesus do?”

Pretty certain he wouldn’t lie to Jews the way you did. I don’t think he would claim—like you did at a TPUSA (read: Groyper Academy) event—that Israel is not “controlling this president of the United States.” So Israel controls every other president of the United States? Should I just start calling you Vice President Fuentes? Because I do recall you bypassing the point of that very same questioner when he said the religion of Judaism “openly supports the prosecution [sic] of ours [Christianity].”

I know you heard him. You felt more than capable of answering every other part of his question, and you did so by invoking the anti-Semitic trope that Jews are the puppet masters pulling the strings on world leaders like United States presidents (except for Donald Trump). You and your team refused to condemn that hilariously ahistorical comment. Really? The religion of Judaism persecutes Christianity?

Dare I ask if you’ve read a history book? Want to take that question again and answer truthfully? How many Christian crusades were there again? How many Jews murdered by Christians during their trek to Jerusalem? I know you might not know your history, but at some point we do expect “the Spanish Inquisition” to come from your mouth when answering that question.

And we do know you know how to clap back at Jewish reporters for asking pointed questions about whom you put on your staff. When Buckley Carlson, Tucker Carlson’s son, was part of your communications team, Sloan Rachmuth asked the question many Jews wanted to know: how much of Tucker Carlson’s politics overlap with yours?

That is my main issue with you. You lie. Constantly. It’s not that I don’t trust you—I trust you completely. I trust you the same way I trust the New York Times.

Instead of answering the question, you attacked Rachmuth for asking it. Quite a strange take given you have never condemned Tucker Carlson nor his increasingly insane and loathsome attacks on your boss, President Trump. Even in your middle-school response to Rachmuth, you phrased her attack as coming because “she doesn’t like the views of his father.” Question: do you like the views of his father? With every passing day it is getting exceedingly hard to tell whether you even agree with the president’s agenda. Remember, you’re the vice president, not the president.

You do understand the difference, right? You are supposed to be enacting his policies, his agenda. Yet, from where most Americans who pay attention to international politics are standing, you seem to be executing the policies and prescriptions of Tucker Carlson, not Donald Trump.

And we know why. You didn’t earn your office. You were hand-picked for the position despite not earning anything. You didn’t earn your senatorial win. Peter Thiel had to catapult you from the middle of the pack just so you could win the Republican primary. And then, before you did anything of note, Donald Trump—still friends at the time with Tucker Carlson—listened to Tucker Carlson, and now you’re one bad heartbeat away from being the most powerful man in the world.

The online world castigates you as “Hillbilly Obama,” and sorry, but that’s a fairly accurate description of your meteoric rise to power in politics. You’re a post-liberal populist who routinely says that if only you had the power, you would know what to do with it. You are the exact type of person the Founding Fathers warned against, and it scares me to no end that you might be president one day.

Mr. “I love Pakistan.” Really? What is it about Pakistan you love so much? Their love of jihad? That it is chock-full of terrorists? That terrorism is standard operating procedure for them? That they beat their wives and kill their daughters? Can you please explain what about Pakistan you love so much? Maybe it’s that they are a cut-out for the genocidal regime occupying Iram. After all, we still don’t know exactly who leaked the Kurdish option to Turkey, which then compelled Donald Trump to veto the plan to use the Kurds to help topple the regime.

You seem quite friendly with Qatar—maybe the only thing you, Donald Trump, and Tucker Carlson all agree upon—so maybe it has something to do with that? I am not sure. But please don’t hate me; I’m just asking questions.

Or maybe it is your love and embracing of Theo Von. Von, who despises the State of Israel, spreads blood libels about it, all while sporting the intelligence and world-savvy analysis of a fifth grader who has never completed a homework assignment. Yet to you, he has a good heart. Does he, though? People who spread lies about Jews and the State of Israel don’t seem to have good hearts in my estimation.

But then again, this is you declaring what is good and bad. You, who admittedly loves himself some conspiracy theories, including those related to Jeffrey Epstein. Yes, Epstein—the lodestone for all conspiracy theories. Hell, even Charlie Kirk blabbed around with Megyn Kelly about how Epstein was a Mossad agent despite a total and utter lack of evidence.

This is not what good people do. But, thankfully, I expect this from you. You never surprise me because—like the New York Times—I always expect the worst from you, and you never disappoint. Peddle anti-Semitic tropes about Israel controlling United States presidents? Yeah, you’ve done that. Lie to the American people on behalf of the Islamic terrorist regimes in Iran, Pakistan, and Qatar? Mmhmm, you’ve done that. Laugh in the face of all recorded history in order for Christians to play the victim to Jews of all people? You made sure to gloss over that accusation and let it stand unopposed.

You might hate Nick Fuentes; but it might just be because he’s better than you at this game. Get help and do better, Vice President Groyper. In the meantime, I’ll make sure to pray for Donald Trump’s health.

Sincerely,

Jake Donnelly, aka. @RedWhiteBlueJew
