She clutches life;
it is all she knows.
The past attracts her.
One grows aware
upon meeting her
of Death.
Time is defined
at the Void:
before/after.
There is an after
and there is not:
children
who are no more—
and more.
There is Death
that is Life
that defies Death
going on
and on
and around
alone in the dark house
with the TV on.
